I’m Milly and I am the founder of “I Do in Africa” – Africa’s wedding hub. We are here to connect Africa’s best venues and vendors with Brides and Grooms who are keen to say “I do” in Africa.
How it all started
To be honest, IDIA was born out of sheer frustration, coupled with the love of the African continent and the desire to celebrate our beautiful cultures through weddings.
Frustration because, while planning our own weddings, there just was not enough information about planning weddings in Africa. While there is some information about Venues, there is not a “one-stop-shop” hub, that allows Brides and Grooms to compare and find what is best for them. There is certainly a lack of information on finding wedding vendors.
